Education & Child Development
Bridge courses, learning centres, scholarships and out-of-school support so every rural child finishes school with confidence.
For over a decade we have walked alongside rural communities across Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha and beyond — working in education, health, livelihoods, women's empowerment and the rights of the most vulnerable.
For over eleven years, our founders and field teams worked across rural Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha under different entities and names. We have now come together to consolidate all of that work under one roof — Welcome Foundation Trust.
Today we work across more than 1,200 villages in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha, and respond to communities across the country through pan-India programmes. We move slowly, stay long, and measure success not in projects completed but in lives changed.
Our programmes are shaped by what families actually face each day — from a child out of school to a mother walking miles for water. Here are six of our core fields of work.
Bridge courses, learning centres, scholarships and out-of-school support so every rural child finishes school with confidence.
Mobile clinics, health camps, maternal care and nutrition support reaching families far from the nearest hospital.
Self-help groups, financial literacy, livelihoods and a safe space for women to lead change in their own villages.
Vocational training, placement support and rural enterprises that turn young women and men into earners and owners.
Farmer producer organisations, organic methods, irrigation and fair-market support for small and marginal farmers.
Safe drinking water, household toilets, menstrual hygiene and village-level WASH behaviour change.
Every field visit, every classroom, every self-help group is built on trust that stays long after we leave.
